Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Our Position

Wanabal does not sell or share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not exchange Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not allow third parties to use Personal Information we collect to target ads to you across unaffiliated websites or apps. We do not engage in “targeted advertising” as that term is defined under any United States state privacy law. We collect Personal Information to provide the Services our Customers and their authorized users request, not to monetize it through advertising channels.

What This Means Under State Privacy Laws

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”), and analogous state privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, and others), residents have the right to opt out of:

  • The “sale” of their Personal Information [per Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120; analogous state statutes];
  • The “sharing” of their Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising [per Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120]; and
  • “Targeted advertising” as defined under each applicable state law.

Because Wanabal does not sell or share Personal Information for those purposes and does not engage in targeted advertising, there is no Wanabal practice for you to opt out of in those categories. Your default position is already “opted out” of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising at Wanabal.

Global Privacy Control

Wanabal honors Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals from your browser as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA/CPRA, consistent with our position above [per CCPA Regs §7025].

Sensitive Personal Information

Wanabal handles certain Sensitive Personal Information (“SPI”), including financial-account information (bank account and routing numbers), login credentials, and tax identification numbers (such as EINs and, where present, SSNs). We process SPI only as necessary to provide the Services Customer requests, and only as permitted by CCPA Regs §7027.

Under CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to limit our use of SPI to that necessary to provide the Services. To exercise this right, see “How to Submit a Request” below.

Profiling and Automated Decision-Making

Wanabal does not currently use Personal Information for “profiling” producing legal or similarly significant effects. Our embedded AI assistant, Fynn (described under “AI Features (Fynn)” in our Terms of Service), surfaces suggestions but does not autonomously create, update, or delete records in Customer’s data. All data-changing actions require human review by an authorized user on Customer’s team.

How to Submit a Request

Even though Wanabal does not sell or share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may at any time:

  • Confirm our position in writing;
  • Request that we limit our use of Sensitive Personal Information;
  • Request access to, deletion of, correction of, or portability of your Personal Information; and
  • Withdraw consent or object to processing under any applicable jurisdiction-specific rights.

Submit a request to info@wanabal.com and include:

  • Your name and the email address associated with your Wanabal account, if any;
  • The specific request you are making; and
  • Whether you are submitting through an authorized agent (see below).

We will respond to verifiable CCPA/CPRA requests within 45 days, with one additional 45-day extension where reasonably necessary and with notice to you. Requests under other jurisdictions will be handled within the timelines set by applicable law (cross-reference “Your CCPA/CPRA Rights,” “Your PIPEDA Rights,” “Your Quebec Law 25 Rights,” “Your GDPR Rights,” and “Your Rights Under Other US State Privacy Laws” in our Privacy Policy).

There is no charge for exercising your privacy rights, except for manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive requests as permitted by law. We will verify your identity before responding, typically by matching to information already on file.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require the agent to verify their identity and authority, and may require you to confirm the agent’s authority directly with us [per CCPA Regs §7060].

Non-Discrimination

Wanabal will not deny Services, charge different prices or rates, provide a different level or quality of Services, or otherwise retaliate against you because you exercised any of your rights under CCPA/CPRA or analogous state privacy laws.

Other Privacy Rights

For a complete description of how we handle Personal Information and the rights available to you, please review our full Privacy Policy, including the jurisdiction-specific rights sections (“Your CCPA/CPRA Rights,” “Your PIPEDA Rights,” “Your Quebec Law 25 Rights,” “Your GDPR Rights,” and “Your Rights Under Other US State Privacy Laws”).
